Getting started
Follow screenshots to switch search engines, translate a phrase with Google, find products on Lazada and back up the favorites and notes saved in your browser.
Features
Explore StarterTab's search switcher, Google Translate, organized website Dock, country-specific shopping, wallpapers, scientific calculator and local productivity tools.
Local data & privacy
Understand StarterTab's browser-local storage, what happens when you clear site data or change devices, and when search or translation sends text to an external service.
About us
Meet StarterTab, a start page for Southeast Asia. Learn where your favorites and notes are saved, what clearing site data removes, and how to make a local backup.
New here? Start with three choices.
- Choose your country and language in the top-right corner of the start page.
- Open Search preferences and choose the engines you want below the search bar.
- Use the + button in the bottom Dock to add a website you open often.
Find the right answer
The setup guide explains the controls in the order you are likely to use them. The feature guide compares search, translation, shopping and the built-in tools. The local-data guide explains what is saved, what leaves your browser and why a draft may not appear on another device.
These guides share the same instructions across countries. Your selected country changes the local services available on the start page; it does not require a separate StarterTab account.
